Borough Council, comprised of 7 elected members, acts as the legislative branch of Millersville Borough.  The board passes ordinances, resolutions, and other policies that impact the daily lives of each resident and visitor of the community.  Council is also a quasi-judicial body, upholding or striking down certain activities of other local boards and commissions.

In Pennsylvania, the Mayor in a straight Borough Code municipality is in charge of the police department.  The Mayor, along with members of the Council, are elected to a 4-year term.
